DAVID C. ELLINSWORTH

MULTIDISCIPLINARY PHOTOGRAPHER

Steel Town

A short while ago I decided to begin a side-project capturing novel compositions of Port Talbot, the steel town where I have lived for over 14 years.  I have traditionally pursued the extremely photogenic sunset and beach shots here, and generally favoured the surrounding coastal and valley areas for landscape shots. However, whilst driving round on fairly typical days I have begun to spot numerous interesting compositions, and have realised that for the past 5 years since i took up photography seriously that I have been missing out on opportunities, both from an artistic standpoint and for purposes of historical record. I haven't put a time-limit on this project, mainly because I believe it'll keep capturing my attention for many years to come.   I hope that this page will eventually tell a story that residents, both past and present, can relate to .
